[ARCHIVED] Give Me Series - The Landing

The original item was published from October 11, 2021 11:39 AM to October 27, 2021 10:25 AM

Tucked away in Liberty, a local favorite named “The Landing” is a multi-generational bar that many Liberty locals call their second home. It’s a place that encourages groups of people from different backgrounds to “land” and spend time together (and has been doing so since 1991).

With its unique array of activities and entertainment, The Landing satisfies everyone in the community, from the trivia players to the music and sports fans. During the weekdays, The Landing’s calmer atmosphere provides a place for family or work dinners. On the weekend, you can feel Liberty’s energy and laughter ricocheting off the walls with live music and sporting events on the big screen TVs.

If you’re a football and brunch lover, try their Sunday Breakfast which features a variety of omelets and a 26-ounce Hangover Bloody Mary, all while watching the big game on high-definition monitors.

You'll want to try the wings, voted Best in KC by the Kansas City Star, or sink your teeth into a giant, crispy pork tenderloin. Still looking for other options? The menu ranges from shareable apps to pizzas to sandwiches to rich mac and cheese.

The Landing

Don’t be afraid to come with a larger party – The Landing wants you to gather here with friends and family! They’ve got rooms that hold up to 40 people so that your game day or birthday celebration can be a success.

Come for the events, games and food, but the people and friendly atmosphere are what make you stay. Let the warm, bright tones and glowing neon lights bring you to a place you too might be able to call a second home no matter the event or occasion.

Give The Landing a call at 816-792-5230 if you need to book for a group, or visit their website for the menu and calendar of events.
