Whether you're looking for something spooky or if pumpkin spice and everything nice is more your style, Liberty is serving up the fun!  Here are several events to FALL in love with Liberty this season!

Historic Downtown Liberty Farmers Market Pumpkin Festival

If you haven’t spent a Saturday at the downtown Liberty farmers market, this is your last chance! Saturday, Oct. 15 is the last market of the season and is sure to be a smashing good time. This event features pumpkin-themed everything; from pumpkin games, photo-ops, décor and a pumpkin decorating contest as well as the usual tasty produce, treats, flowers and handmade goods from the market. There is something for all your family and friends to enjoy! Be sure to swing by the market info booth to enter their exciting raffles, giveaways and candy counting contest. The market begins at 8 a.m. Come to celebrate a gourd-geous fall and a wonderful farmers market season!

The Historic Downtown Liberty Farmers Market is held in downtown Liberty around 1 Courthouse Square.

Trunk-or-Treat The Wellington Senior Living 

Jumpstart your Halloween by visiting this trunk-or-treat featuring live Halloween music and the Liberty Fire Department with a firetruck on display. Join the residents of The Wellington Senior Living on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 4 - 5 p.m. and trick-or-treat around their decorated trunks! This event is for all the little ghouls and goblins in your family, so give that costume a test run and start the party a little early by attending this event.

Liberty Parks & Rec Spooky Trail Hunt

Ghosts and goblins and ghouls, oh my! Visit the Cates Creek/Jefferson Park trail between Oct. 21-31 to discover 12 spooky ghosts hiding along the trail. Each ghost will be holding a letter. Print the activity sheet and find all 12 ghosts to unscramble the answer to their favorite joke! Liberty Parks and Rec provides prizes for the first 700 children who complete the activity sheet and return it to the Liberty Community Center.

The best place to park is on Missouri Ct. behind the Dr. Spotless Car Wash next to the Jefferson Park playground and gaga ball pit. (View activity sheet for more info)

Martha Lafite Nature Sanctuary Fairy Tale Forest

Join the Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary for its 37th annual Fairy Tale Forest! Come check out the Walk of 100 Jack-O-Lanterns that consists of a quarter mile walk through locally carved pumpkins. Not only that, but you'll get a treat bag to take home! The Fairy Tale Forest will run Oct. 20 - 23 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance and bring your receipt for admission.

Trunk-R-Treat at Northland Rolladium

Join Northland Rolladium for its 3rd annual Trunk 'R Treat event on Sunday, October 23 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. There will be many vendors and groups passing out tons of goodies. Plus enjoy public skating during the event!!

Trunk-or-Treat Liberty Christian Church

Let the monsters out early by attending the Liberty Christian Church trunk-or-treat. Grab your broom and fly by Sunday, Oct. 30, from 1 - 3 p.m. With Halloween landing on a Monday this year, this is the perfect way to enjoy the spookish fun a little early.  All your friends and family are welcome to enjoy games, food trucks and more frightful fun!

Trick-or-Treat in Historic Downtown Liberty

Don your favorite Halloween costume for a night of spooky fun the entire family can enjoy. Trick-or-treat the Liberty square on Monday, Oct. 31 (Halloween night) at 5 p.m. Visit local shops and businesses to collect candy and get in on the frightfully good time!
