With spring settling in, we’re all itching to get outside. Coupled with continued COVID-19 precautions, outdoor dining options can be a great way to get out of the house and enjoy the weather while staying socially distanced.
Liberty has a number of outdoor dining options for you and your family.
Fish Market
Located at 1120 E Old MO 210
The Fish Market, located on the southern edge of Liberty, boasts menu options worthy of its name. Visitors from all over flock to the Fish Market to enjoy shrimp, catfish, and alligator dishes. For those not a fan of water-walking cuisine, there’s pulled pork, chicken strips, and club salad (to name a few). And because we can all agree that food – especially seafood – tastes better under the sun and with friends, regulars and visitors alike can be found dining outside under umbrellas during the warmer months. Enjoying some of "the coldest beer in town" with a taste of the south is exactly how we’d recommend kicking off your Liberty patio adventure.
Jousting Pigs BBQ and 3 Halves Brewing Co
Located at 110 E Kansas St
Local craft beer and slow-smoked Missouri BBQ. If your mouth isn’t watering yet, a quick look at Jousting Pigs’ menu and 3 Halves' tap list will have you rushing to one of Liberty’s most popular patios. Located in the heart of Liberty’s charming downtown area, these two businesses have formed a partnership that understandably draws quite a crowd – especially in spring and summer! Bonus - they added brand new umbrellas to the patio to provide coveted shade on hot days!
Boozers Bar & Grill
Located at 1100 State Hwy B
Burgers, wings, and all things fried – if you’re craving delicious bar food and a small town, community atmosphere, a quick, beautiful drive out to Boozer’s is calling your name. Listen to music on the jukebox and kick back on their spacious patio while enjoying nachos and a cold one. And if you find yourself there on a cooler spring evening, you can gather around the many fire pits. Pro tip - Boozers is famous for their homemade cheesecakes. The flavors rotate regularly and the slices are HUGE.
Belvoir Winery
Located at 1325 Odd Fellows Road
Whether it’s a romantic date night or a girls’ Sunday afternoon wine tasting, Belvoir Winery’s patio is rich in charm with gorgeous views. Taste local wines and take in the building’s breathtaking architecture. Pro tip: pack a picnic with meats, cheeses and other snacks to enjoy with your wine!
Pie Time
Cherry pie. Oatmeal cream pie. Hand pies. Tucked away on the ground floor of one of the prettiest buildings in Liberty, we’d dub this one of the tastiest hidden gems in the Northland. Freshly baked (with love, of course) treats enjoyed on the patio, in the shade of a century-old landmark Liberty building, is the tastiest way to enjoy an afternoon.
Keep an eye on the spring forecast and come check out all the amazing patios we have to offer in the charming city of Liberty.
